Project on croatian television
Monday the 9th of November 2009 was the presentation of the project in Kopacki Rit (Croatia) to inform the Croatian people about the reintroduction of six Slavonian Grey bovines in the Nature Park. Teams of the national and regional television made a very good reportage of this unique happening for Croatia, since the animals are living in an official nature area. The bovines are reintroduced in the nature park for nature restoration purposes, to restore pastoral habitats and to control exotic plant species like Amorpha fruticosa.
On “prime time” in the evening and in the morning the project and animals were introduced to the Croatian people. In 2010 the population will be extended with more bovines and horses.
