Bridging the gap between economy and ecology
Nature involves considerable expenses and yields little, is often thought. In the classic issue between ‘economy’ and ‘nature’, ecological pleas are often no match for economic ones. ARK dedicates itself in every respect to bridging this gap. For instance, by giving insight into the proceeds of nature reserves, in recreation or in wilderness meat. And in realizing nature in combination with important economic activities like mineral extraction, housing, tourism, procurement of water, and food production. We show in numerous projects that large parts of Europe can grow rich in nature again: by attaching both an ecological and an economical value to nature.
